This site asks you for nothing. There is no account, no form, and no field where you enter your own situation — the tables are static, and you match yourself to a row in your own head.

Storage and third parties

Analytics is running on this site; advertising is not. Google Analytics 4 is the only third party that loads, on every page, and it is described in full below. Nothing else does — no other script, no image, no frame — and that is checked on every build rather than promised here.

Analytics, in full

Analytics is running. It is Google Analytics 4, and everything below was published on this page before the tag was ever served, so nothing about it is new to you now.

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, nothing is stored or read until you say so. A banner asks; until you accept there is no analytics cookie and no storage entry of Google's. If you answer, your answer is kept in this browser so you are not asked again, and clearing site data asks again.
Everywhere else consent is not required for it and a first-party analytics cookie is set on amiaffected.health alone, holding a client identifier. It is fixed to 90 days from its first write and is not shared with any other site.
Advertising storage stays denied everywhere, in every region, whatever you answer.
Google receives each collection request under its Analytics terms, including the page address, the referring origin, browser or device signals and your network address — see its partner-site notice.

Three event names may be sent, and only the name travels: page_view, which Google's own tag sends on load; row_found, when you follow a link to the row that applies to you; and official_contact_click, when you follow a phone number or a link to the official notice.

Which row is never sent. row_found carries no indication of which row you went to — not whether you were born before 1957, not whether your immune system is damped, not which exposure or recall this page is about. That is your own medical situation and it does not leave your browser. Every detail a page could attach is dropped before anything is sent, and there is no field in what is sent that one could ride out on.

Why row_found and not the phone call. The most useful thing this site does is often to tell you that nothing applies to you — you were vaccinated, you were born before 1957, you were not there during those hours, the ten weeks are behind you. If the number this site measured itself by were calls placed, then every borderline case would be worth more to us pushed toward calling. Reaching your row is the same event whether the row sends you to a clinic or sends you home.

Withdrawing consent

Inside the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, clearing this site's data in your browser removes both the analytics cookie and the record of your answer, and the banner asks again from scratch. Outside those countries the cookie is set without asking, and clearing this site's data removes it the same way; your browser's own setting for blocking cookies on a site also holds, and this site will not work any differently for you if you use it.

There is no inbox on this site yet — Contact says what that means and where to take a correction in the meantime. For anything about the exposure itself, call the line printed on your own notice — the two notices are in different counties and the numbers are not interchangeable.
